AQI under 100, Delhi air best in 60 days

Delhi’s air quality continues to improve. On Friday, it entered the satisfactory levels with the air quality index (AQI) touching 84. The previous best air quality for the city was on September 30 when the AQI was 68. The air quality is expected to remain clean on the weekend as well. On Thursday, the city’s AQI was in the moderate level (106).

Delhi: With AQI of 106, air cleanest since Oct 5

Light rain in parts of the capital on Thursday morning further improved the city’s air quality for the second consecutive day. The daily air quality index clocked 106, putting Delhi air in moderate category, the cleanest since October 5 (98). The AQI further improved to 77 in satisfactory zone at 8.40pm, according to the Central Pollution Control Board’s website.
