With the Big Butterfly Month-2021 to begin from September 4 with the theme of ‘habitat creation’, the focus is on setting up more butterfly hotspots within a distance of a few kilometres to provide a conducive habitat for increasing the population of the winged insects. After Razia Assa, a former schoolteacher in Afghanistan, arrived as a refugee in New Delhi with her family eight years ago, it took her a while to rebuild her life. Tax waiver for houses up to 50sqm under NDMC

With an eye on municipal polls due early next year, North Delhi Municipal Corporation passed a proposal on Friday to give relaxation to owners of up to 50 square metres of properties from paying property tax. Ggm likely to see light rains, temp drop from Sunday

After witnessing a break in monsoon since August 22, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the city may witness light to moderate rainfall from Sunday with the revival of monsoon activities in the region.
