Hindu College panel to look into Dusu's plea for rustication review

DoE urges Delhi Cantt board to join EWS admissions

The Directorate of Education (DoE) has requested the Delhi Cantonment Board (DCB) to participate in the online admissions process for economically weaker section/disadvantaged/children with special needs (EWS/DG/CWSN) category in private schools. Under the Right To Education (RTE) Act, private schools must reserve at least 25% of their class capacity for EWS/DG/CWSN students. The DCB has until November 15 to consent and provide details of schools. If they agree, they must send school details with GPS coordinates to the DoE to avoid any distance-related issues. The letter states that local authorities will handle monitoring and grievance redressal.
