Designer slits throat of ex-girlfriend, hangs self

The designer, Avishek Mondal, is believed to have entered the room of his former partner, Ayushna, late Monday morning, just before she was to leave for work. The scribbles on the wall suggest he wanted to reunite with her, police said. He slit her throat when she refused. The deaths were discovered in the evening when Ayushna's roommate returned home.
