Growth story: Transplant idea that’s taking root

Instead of a ‘green’ budget, Delhi government announced a tree transplantation policy in which 80% of the trees being felled for an approved project would have to be mandatorily transplanted. The policy, however, could face challenges, considering that tree transplantation is hardly a certain science.
