Mercury may touch 43°C by Wednesday: Met

The temperature in the capital is all set to rise again and may touch 43 degrees Celsius by Wednesday, the Met department has forecast. Delhi’s maximum temperature on Monday was recorded at 41.2 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal for this time of the season. Met officials said there is a likelihood of a rise in temperature by two degrees in the next 48 hours.
