RFID regime in Delhi kicks in today

Amid apprehensions of traffic snarls on roads near the city borders, and protest by transporters, the deadline for mandatory RFID tagging of commercial vehicles ended on August 23 midnight. From Saturday, all commercial vehicles entering Delhi without an RFID tag will be penalised.
