RFID toll: 50% vehicles making digital payments

Half of the vehicles using the toll gates in Delhi are now making the tax payments digitally. “The border toll collection system involving the radio-frequency identification (RFID) tags has achieved 50% cashless status. While half of the vehicles passing through the toll gates are now making tax payments digitally with the tag, rest are being made to pay the double fine,” said a senior south corporation official.
