Tax sop likely if NBCC finishes Jaypee projects

In a bid to improve the prospects of Jaypee homebuyers finally getting their residences, the Centre told the Supreme Court on Tuesday that it was ready to give some concessions on hundreds of crores of rupees in tax dues owed by the builder in case construction was taken over by state-owned NBCC.
