Two women thrashed for ‘child-lifting’ in Okhla

In an atmosphere of distrust created by rumours of childlifters on the prowl, two women were beaten up by the residents at a colony in southeast Delhi’s Okhla Industrial Area on Friday when they were suspected of having tried to kidnap a boy. Based on the complaint of the child’s father, the women were booked for kidnapping.
