Delhi pollution: 95% of cremations still in open

While on a recent tour of “pollution hotspot” Punjabi Bagh in west Delhi, a Supreme Court appointed monitoring committee noted that the cremation ground in the locality was a major source of emissions. The place has CNG-fired furnaces too, but these remain largely underutilised, the panel observed.
