Delhi looking skyward to solve its parking puzzle

The city got its first tower parking on Thursday when Union urban affairs minister Hardeep Puri inaugurated the modern facility on Aurobindo Marg at Green Park. The 17-storey prefabricated steel structure with automated vehicle placement lifts is touted as the model solution to the parking woes in the spacestarved capital. Puri confirmed this when he remarked, “The public-private partnership model, with the government providing gap viability funds, can be the way forward. My ministry will provide full support to such projects.”
