I became eligible to take vaccines on May 1, but there were various reasons I was unable to. Primary among them was the fear of contracting an infection. I was ‘antibody assured’ by my doctor, after I had the SARS-CoV-2 infection myself last October, but I was told that I couldn’t bet on it after February. And especially after the second wave in April and May, I did not want to take any chances.
