Ggm likely to see light rains, temp drop from Sunday

After witnessing a break in monsoon since August 22, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the city may witness light to moderate rainfall from Sunday with the revival of monsoon activities in the region. According to IMD, the western end of the monsoon trough at mean sea level runs along the foothills of Himalayas and it is very likely to shift gradually southwards from August 28.
