New Noida top cop first woman to hold post in UP

Laxmi Singh, an IPS officer of the 2000-batch, has many distinctions to her name.On Wednesday, she will become the first woman to take charge as a police commissioner in UP, nearly three years after the state started its first commissionerates in Gautam Budh Nagar and Lucknow.
