Night economy, slum rehab in focus for Delhi master plan

The next Master Plan of Delhi (MPD) will focus on promoting night-time economy and slum rehabilitation. During a review meeting with Delhi Development Authority (DDA) officials on Friday, lieutenant governor VK Saxena examined a few initial chapters of the draft plan and emphasised on adding "user friendly" and "implementable provisions" regarding slum rehabilitation and giving special focus on developing Delhi as an economic hub with a vibrant nightlife.
