KYC frauds on the rise: Dos and don'ts

In the past two weeks alone, Mumbai Police have registered 78 FIRs over the creation of as many as 300 fake bank accounts and purchase of 100 SIM cards using details gathered from victims by online scamsters citing KYC update requirement for PAN cards to defraud them.
