Tax relief promised during civic poll fulfilled: Mayor Shelly Oberoi

Mayor Shelly Oberoi said on Saturday that the Aam Aadmi Party had always believed in providing relief to the taxpayers of the city and now that the party was in a majority in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, it had begun working in this direction. Oberoi said that the recommendations of the Fifth Municipal Valuation Committee (MVC5) on lower property rates have been implemented with retrospective effect from April 1.
