LG V K Saxena, CM Arvind Kejriwal inaugurate engineered landfill site in southeast Delhi's Tehkhand

Delhi Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated a new landfill site in southeast Delhi's Tehkhand. The purpose of this site is to ensure proper and scientific disposal of solid waste, contributing to sustainable waste management and environmental conservation. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi operates three landfill sites currently, with plans to clear the Okhla site by this year, and the Bhalaswa and Ghazipur sites by 2025 and 2026 respectively.
