1998 murder case of ex-Bihar minister: SC awards life sentence to two accused, including former MLA Munna Shukla

The Supreme Court has sentenced Mantu Tiwari and former MLA Munna Shukla to life imprisonment for the 1998 murder of ex-Bihar minister Brij Bihari Prasad, partially overturning a Patna High Court verdict that acquitted all accused. Six others remain acquitted due to lack of convincing evidence.
