Suit up for bigger threats: Advanced bullet-resistant equipment for Delhi cops

Delhi Police is enhancing its protective gear with advanced bullet-resistant vests, helmets, and patkas to better equip frontline personnel against escalating threats. The procurement includes 7,900 vests and helmets offering 3A-level protection, along with 7,930 jackets providing level 5 protection against assault rifles. This upgrade aims to improve officer safety and effectiveness in high-risk situations.
