Toxicity: 15% of deaths in Delhi linked to air pollution, says study

Shocking data reveals air pollution claimed one in seven lives in Delhi during 2023. Ambient particulate matter was the primary culprit, responsible for approximately 15% of all fatalities, totaling around 17,200 deaths. This pollution also led to a staggering loss of nearly 4.9 lakh years of healthy life for the city's residents.
