Delhi Police crime branch arrested proclaimed offender in 2021 sexual assault case

Delhi Police have apprehended Sumit Mishra, a man wanted for sexual assault and criminal intimidation. Mishra was declared a proclaimed offender five years ago after allegedly assaulting a woman and absconding. He is accused of recording and circulating nude videos to intimidate the victim. Mishra evaded capture for years, moving across several states.
