Mercury may hit 45°C in Delhi tomorrow: Met

A severe heatwave is likely to hit the NCR in the next 48 hours with the temperature set to cross 45 degrees Celsius, IMD said. On Tuesday, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 41.8 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal for this time of the season. IMD officials said Delhi’s maximum could reach 44 degrees on Wednesday and 45 degrees on Thursday.
