130kg heroin worth Rs 520cr seized from Navi Mumbai

Making another breakthrough in the operations of an Afghanistan-based cartel, Special Cell of Delhi Police seized 130kg of soaked and dried heroin from a container in Navi Mumbai on Thursday. The contraband, which was concealed in 260 jute bags, is valued at Rs 520 crore. The drug was imported as part of a basil seed consignment.
