How transport stir held Delhi to ransom

Thousands of passengers were stranded for hours on Thursday as transport unions in Delhi-NCR went on a strike demanding the rollback of the hefty fines prescribed under the amended Motor Vehicles Act. Very few app-based cabs were available and the small number of autorickshaws plying on the roads refused to travel long distances.
