
After touching the higher end of the ‘very poor’ category on Friday, Delhi’s air quality started to improve on Saturday. High wind speed and a reduction in the contribution of stubble burning saw the capital’s overall Air Quality Index (AQI) improve to 312 (very poor) from a reading of 360 (very poor) on Friday. India Meteorological Department forecasts further improvement in the coming days.
