Rain likely in Del: Will it wash away pollutants?

Delhi’s air quality improved further on Tuesday, bringing much needed respite to people who have been breathing the toxic air for the past several days. The air quality index (AQI) settled at 324 on Tuesday, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB)’s daily report. The AQI had touched 494 (severe) on Sunday, before improving on Monday to 407 (severe).
