Carpet area to be sole basis for registry in Noida

Following repeated complaints from homebuyers, the Noida Authority has written to the stamp and registration department to stop approving lease deed requests based on super area, built-up area or any other format. The move comes at a time when more than 1.2 lakh units in the city are in various stages of completion and are slated to be registered in the coming years.
