Noida: Builder fined Rs 5 lakh for flouting construction ban

The builder was carrying out work despite the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) in NCR putting a ban on all construction activities in the wake of the deteriorating quality of air across the region following a Supreme Court direction on November 24. The builder has been given 15 days to deposit the fine, officials said.
