Delhi: Mercury to rise, but no heatwave in next 7 days

Delhi had a soothing weather on Tuesday with an average rainfall of 14.6mm during early morning hours. Partially cloudy sky and occasional dry winds led to a slight rise in the mercury — only one degree Celsius for both maximum and minimum temperatures compared with a day earlier. The daytime temperature remained within the season’s average.
