In a first for India, Delhi likely to conduct artificial rain trials from October 1; IIT Kanpur to lead project

IIT Kanpur has received DGCA approval to conduct cloud seeding in Delhi from October 1 to November 30, potentially offering relief from air pollution. Trials using a Cessna aircraft are planned for October 9-11 in north Delhi, with a maximum of five sorties covering 100 sq km each.
