Police recover nearly 2,000 phones in 40 days and return most to owners

Delhi Police's 'Mission Reconnect' has successfully recovered nearly 2,000 mobile phones, valued at approximately Rs 4 crore, within 40 days. These devices, lost or stolen across multiple states, were traced using the CEIR portal. The initiative, lauded as people-centric, also featured street plays raising awareness on cyber safety and social issues.
