Delhi government cuts red tape for projects up to Rs 100 crore

Delhi government has authorised secretaries of various departments to approve projects of up to Rs 100 crore without getting the mandatory clearance from the expenditure finance committee (EFC). The last time financial powers of secretaries was enhanced was in 2015 when they were empowered to clear projects up to Rs 15 crore.
