Delhi’s mountains of shame to be flattened

Unable to deal with Delhi’s mountains of shame — at Ghazipur, Bhalswa and Okhla — for years, the three corporations have come under sustained fire from National Green Tribunal. On NGT’s orders, the civic bodies are now pushing ahead with a bioremediation and biomining plan to reduce the heights of the three landfills.
