Left sweeps JNUSU polls, wins all 4 seats

The Left retained its bastion of Jawaharlal Nehru University on Tuesday with its alliance of four outfits winning all the four central panel posts of the JNU Student’s Union. The Left Unity alliance got 44.7% of the total votes polled, with ABVP in second place, but there were significant ballot gains for National Students Union of India and Birsa Ambedkar Phule Students’ Association.
