Why smog towers may not fix Delhi’s problem

Installing a smog tower in the capital may take another ten months, with a fresh MoU signed by IIT-Bombay with the central government. The work will be carried out using expertise from University of Minnesota and IIT Delhi. At present, Delhi has only one smog tower – a 20-ft-tall device, which was installed at Lajpat Nagar in January by a local traders’ association.
