NHRC takes note of clashes among Tihar inmates

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on Tuesday took suo motu cognisance of media reports on increasing incidents of violence among inmates in Tihar Jail. In an incident of clash among inmates inside the prison, a 25-year-old prisoner was beaten up by another on September 22, which was the sixth such incident in a month.
