Delhi HC asks cops to tweak cycle allowance rules

Constables and head constables are paid Rs 180 per month for using and maintaining cycles, but they are spending much more on conveyance because they ride motorcycles, Delhi Police informed the high court on Tuesday. The disclosure prompted the court to advise the police to amend its document relating to grant of cycle allowance to constables and head constables.
