AAP ends 15 years' BJP rule, wins 134 seats

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday wrested control of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), winning 134 seats in the 250-seat civic body. According to the State Election Commission (SEC), the AAP won 134 seats, BJP bagged 104, Congress got nine and the Independents secured victory in three wards.
