Crisis eases in Delhi as ammonia level down in Yamuna
The ammonia in the Yamuna has subsided to treatable levels, and Delhi Jal Board officials reported that the two water treatment plants at Wazirabad and Chandrawal are now operating at the required capacity. Burdened by ageing treatment plants and very high ammonia levels in the river water from Haryana, DJB had been curtailing supplies in some places.
