Let Delhi breathe! Air pollution tops citizens’ concerns

According to a recent opinion poll conducted by Greenpeace in seven global cities, air pollution is perceived as the biggest environmental problem in Delhi, followed by waste management, increasing temperatures, and water pollution. The poll, part of the Urban Justice campaign, aimed to transform cities into places of climate action, resilience, and justice. Over 1,000 people from Delhi participated in the campaign, with a majority expressing optimism about the city's future. When it comes to improving mobility, respondents showed support for dedicated bus lanes, cycle lanes, better pavements, and more investment in metros and trains.
