Satyapal Malik passes away at 79: Former J&K governor was critical for months; served during Article 370 rollback

Satya Pal Malik, the former Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, passed away at 79 in New Delhi due to complications from a urinary tract infection and kidney failure. He served as the last Governor of J&K during the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019.
