Over half of doctors’ posts vacant at Ghaziabad hospital

Health services at the District Combined Hospital (DCH), which caters to patients from Sanjay Nagar, Kavi Nagar and adjoining villages, have been affected due to a severe shortage of doctors. The hospital, which sees an average of 900 patients in its out-patient department (OPD) daily, currently has just 16 doctors against the sanctioned 39 posts.
