Teachers at odds with DU’s plan on development fund

Delhi University (DU) recently passed a proposal to increase the annual university development fund (UDF) by Rs 300 for each student. Apart from developing educational and intellectual knowledge resources, the fund will also be utilised to meet the initial expenditure required for setting up of the building for the proposed Faculty of Technology, it stated.
