Water production curtailed in Delhi's Wazirabad, Chandrawal plants due to pollutants in Yamuna

Water production in Delhi's treatment plants at Wazirabad and Chandrawal has been reduced by 25-30% due to high levels of pollutants in the Yamuna river. As a result, water supply will be available at low pressure in several areas of Delhi. The affected areas include Civil lines, Hindu Rao Hospital, Kamla Nagar, Shakti Nagar, Karol Bagh, Pahar Ganj, NDMC areas, Old and New Rajinder Nagar, and more. Other affected areas are Prahladpur, Ramleela Ground, Delhi Gate, Model Town, Gulabi Bagh, Punjabi Bagh, and some Cantonment areas.
