The Delhi government has implemented its winter action plan to provide shelter for homeless individuals. The Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board has established makeshift tents in the city and mobilized rescue teams to relocate the homeless. Currently, there are 110 tents available, with plans to set up an additional 30 to 40 tents. Surveys are conducted to determine suitable locations for the tents, and doctors visit the shelters twice a week. The DUSIB official mentioned that they provide food and tea to the homeless and keep a record of their work.
