Hindon to be ready for UDAN flights by March

The civil enclave being built by Airports Authority of India (AAI) will become operational by March after which up to 80-seater planes can operate flights under the subsidised regional air connectivity scheme UDAN. The Hindon air base will accommodate flights to Pithoragarh, Jaisalmer, Gorakhpur, Allahabad, Hubli and Kannur till IGIA’s expansion work is completed.
