Autos running without meters in Noida to be fined

Auto-rickshaws running without meters in Noida and Greater Noida would be fined from next week, officials in the transport department said. The crackdown follows complaints from residents that auto drivers were charging exorbitant rates in the absence of meters, even for short distances.
