Delhi stares at huge August rain deficit

Little rain is expected in the remaining days of August and the city is likely to witness a rain deficit this month. Safdarjung, the city's base station, has logged just 39.8mm rainfall so far and is unlikely to cross 100mm as against the normal 247.7mm.
